Welcome to Imo Anochi. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, platforms, programs, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1) Who We Are & What We Offer

​

Imo Anochi provides community support, professionally facilitated groups, education, mentorship, and resources for the Jewish community—online and in person. We are not a medical provider and do not provide therapy, crisis services, or medical advice.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

​

• You must be at least 18 to create an account. Participants under 18 may join certain programs with a parent/guardian’s consent where permitted.
   

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity on your account.
   

• Provide accurate information and update it as needed.
   

3) Health & Safety Disclaimers

​

• Not therapy or medical care. Our Services provide education, peer support, and referrals. They do not substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
   

• Crisis: If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency room.
   

• Referrals: With your permission, we may share information for warm referrals to trusted professionals or organizations.
   

4) Community Guidelines

To keep our spaces safe and respectful, you agree to:

• Be kind and nonjudgmental; avoid harassment, hate, or threats.
   

• Protect your privacy and the privacy of others; do not share personal or identifying information without consent.
   

• Do not post medical, legal, or financial advice; share experiences, not directives.
   

• Follow facilitator and staff guidance in groups, forums, and events.
   

• Do not record, copy, or distribute group sessions or member content without explicit permission.
  We may remove content or restrict access for violations.
   

5) Your Content & Our License

• You own the content you post (“User Content”).
   

• By posting User Content, you grant Imo Anochi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and share it solely to operate and improve the Services.
   

• You represent you have the rights to post your content and that it does not infringe others’ rights.
   

• We may remove or moderate User Content at our discretion.
   

6) Intellectual Property

The Services, including text, graphics, logos, audio, video, and software, are owned by or licensed to Imo Anochi and protected by law. Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Services.

7) Prohibited Conduct

​

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful activity.
   

• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
   

• Upload malware or attempt to disrupt or bypass platform security.
   

• Data-mine, scrape, or use automated means without our written permission.
   

• Interfere with the experience of other users, facilitators, or events.
   

8) Programs, Payments & Refunds

• Some programs may require fees or suggested donations. Pricing, eligibility, and scheduling are listed during registration or checkout.
   

• Donations are generally non-refundable; program fees may have specific refund or cancellation terms shown at purchase.
   

• We may change offerings or pricing; changes will not affect completed purchases already confirmed.
   

9) Partner Organizations & Third-Party Links

We may link to or integrate third-party tools (e.g., video, messaging, payment) and refer you to external providers. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or services. Your use of third parties is at your own risk and may be subject to their terms.

10) Communications (Email, SMS, WhatsApp)

By opting in, you consent to receive communications about programs, reminders, or resources. You can opt out via provided mechanisms (e.g., “unsubscribe,” app settings). Messaging rates may apply. Do not send emergencies through these channels.

11) Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information. Please review it carefully. Where required, we obtain consent for data processing and cookies.

12) Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or that content is accurate, complete, or current.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Imo Anochi and its directors, employees, volunteers, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid for the applicable program in the 3 months prior to the claim, or (b) $100.

14) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Imo Anochi and its personnel from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15) Changes to the Services or Terms

​

We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

16) Termination

​

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or community guidelines. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections intended to survive termination will continue to apply.

17) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

​

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York (without regard to conflict of law principles). Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, unless otherwise required by law.
